As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I have extensive experience working with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds, including teenagers, adult individuals, parents, and couples. As your therapist I promise to show up and listen well with empathy and a non-judgmental approach. I will work with you to process whatever issues you may be dealing with, whether it’s anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family problems, trauma, grief, abandonment issues, or other concerns. Together we will establish a workable plan with God’s guidance to help you move from despair and discouragement to healing and hope.
Greenlake – Mon & Tue
I am passionate about seeing individuals, couples, and families thrive with God’s help. With humility and compassion, I will walk with you through whatever challenges you are facing, using evidence-based treatment methods to help you overcome. Through our time together, my hope is that you will experience a dramatic improvement in your overall well-being – mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. When we incorporate a faith-based perspective with proven therapeutic techniques, great progress can be made. You don’t have to struggle alone; help and hope are available to you.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as your counselor is to create a safe space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions. As we work together to determine your goals for treatment, I will offer professional guidance to help you achieve and realize those goals, with God’s help.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you will be heard. With empathy and respect, I will listen attentively to your story and the reasons that led you to pursue counseling. Together we will work to establish realistic goals based on your expressed desires and will evaluate our progress as we go along. As your therapist, my aim is to ensure that the focus is on you and the progress you desire to make.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My faith as a Christian counselor helps me to meet people where they are with a non-judgmental lens. Some of the many benefits of a Christian approach to counseling is that it can speak into the client’s values, it allows individuals to be themselves, and it gives an opportunity for people to use their faith as a source of support during the healing process.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology, both from California Baptist University.
My Call to Christian Counseling
I love talking to people and helping to support them and resolve conflict.

Marriage Counseling
When I meet with couples, I make sure each individual has a chance to tell their side of the story. Together we will all work to identify the presenting problem, create goals to help guide the therapeutic process, and work on stabilization, building the connection again, and maintaining the relationship moving forward. In couples counseling, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy.
Individual Counseling
During our first session of individual counseling, I will do an intake session to assess the presenting issue, identify whether it’s within the scope of my practice, and determine whether we are a match or not. If we agree on moving forward with therapy, we will work together to create a treatment plan which includes diagnosis, setting goals, identifying strengths, psycho education, teaching coping skills, and assessing for progress as we go.
Anxiety
Have you ever wondered why you find yourself worrying about what might happen in the future? Do you at times play different scenarios in your mind regarding how that might unfold? In counseling for anxiety, we will identify your symptoms and triggers, set goals, and use the CBT Triangle to explain the relationship between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and Core beliefs. My approach to treating anxiety is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Depression
If you are experiencing signs of depression, help is available. I offer professional counseling for depression, including Major Depressive Disorder. As your counselor, I will work with you to create a treatment plan, set goals, provide psycho-education, and identify your strengths. We will discuss possible remedies including natural supports, meditation, exercise, a healthy diet, and surrendering problems to God.
Grief and Loss
When we meet together for grief counseling, I will listen to your story and give you space to express yourself freely in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I will validate your emotions, meet you where you are, talk about the stages of grief, and allow you to move at your pace.
