You deserve a space where your pain is understood and your whole being is honored. As an Afro-Indigenous woman with eight years of clinical practice in Washington State, I work at the unique intersection of proven psychological science and traditional Indigenous healing philosophy. I reject standard, one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, we will treat your mind, body, and spirit as one connected whole. If you are carrying the heavy burdens of domestic violence, severe anxiety, deep grief, complex trauma, or addiction, you do not have to carry them alone. Together we will build a secure, stable, and deeply empathetic space where you can safely process, heal, and rebuild.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My primary goal is to help you transform your faith into your strongest engine for change, moving you from survival mode into deep emotional resilience. We will not just mask your immediate symptoms. Through thoughtful, collaborative work, my aim is for you to gain measurable control over your emotions, break negative thinking patterns, and restore health to your relationships. By connecting your clinical progress with your spiritual walk, my hope is that our teamwork will provide real, daily improvements to your well-being and restore a clear, functional sense of your God-given purpose.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I provide a multi-dimensional toolkit designed to move you past surface-level relief and into mental and spiritual renewal. This specialized approach blends evidence-based clinical treatments with faith-based counseling and practical behavioral tools. Every session provides a strictly confidential, non-judgmental space optimized for your growth.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My approach honors the truth that your mental health and spiritual life are deeply intertwined. I anchor our partnership in the theological truth that you possess inherent dignity, beautifully crafted imago Dei—in the image of God. By tracking your progress and continually adjusting your care, this method accelerates positive brain changes, promotes deep internal healing, and strengthens your connection to God.
Qualifications & Clinical Experience
I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, specializing in Substance Use Disorders (SUD) as well as Disaster, Crisis, and Trauma Response. My academic foundation also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Washington State University, with dual concentrations in Psychology and Sociology. Throughout my clinical career, I have dedicated my practice to helping individuals navigate acute crisis, profound trauma, and the complex dynamics of chemical dependency.
My Call to Christian Counseling
My commitment to the field of mental health was sparked at the early age of nine, driven by a profound sense of justice and compassion. After witnessing countless families torn apart by the devastating cycles of alcohol and substance abuse in my community, I saw firsthand how poorly these individuals were treated by society. I felt a distinct, divine calling to intervene and reform how we support those in crisis. Today, that childhood vision has matured into a purposeful, faith-based counseling ministry. I integrate rigorous clinical modalities with biblical truths to offer holistic healing, ensuring every client is treated with the dignity, respect, and deep empathy they deserve.
On a Personal Note
To maintain professional longevity and personal wellness, I actively practice spiritual and physical self-care. I am an avid hiker and regularly explore the expansive trail systems of Washington State. For me, immersing myself in the beauty of creation is a vital way to quiet the mind, restore the soul, and spend intentional, reflective time in the presence of God.
