As a Christian counselor, I am here to support you through whatever challenges you are facing and to help you move forward in your life, with God’s guidance. So often in life, we can feel alone in what we’re going through. We may feel separated from those close to us and even separated from Jesus. It can be powerful to sit with another person, build a strong, therapeutic relationship, and know that you are heard, seen, and not alone. I will offer you a safe space, free of judgment, where we can work toward your unique goals so you can live freely as a beloved child of God.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as a counselor is for you to have a safe space to be seen and heard. My aim is for you to feel comfortable sharing your hopes and goals for counseling so we can work together to accomplish these goals. My hope is for you to find healing, grow in self-discovery, and understand and appreciate your strengths. Through our time together I want you to know you aren’t alone, that you are loved deeply by God, and for you to have a sense of peace for moving forward.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
In our counseling sessions, you will find a welcoming space that is free of judgment where we can begin to work together toward achieving your goals. My aim is for you to feel supported throughout this journey. In my practice, I work out of a client-centered approach and will aim to provide a space where we can work on healing and implementing positive changes in your life, utilizing your strengths. During sessions, I like to tailor our time to what you need on that particular day.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
As a follower of Jesus, I have a way that I view the world and human relationships. Having a strong relationship with Christ is a pillar in my life and how I operate on a day-to-day basis. I think it can be a huge benefit to see a counselor who utilizes a Christian approach, especially if the client shares the same faith. It provides an instant connection and understanding with one another, and I will have a clearer understanding of how the client’s issues are impacting them. Additionally, as a Christian counselor, I will work with love and grace with each client and be able to provide them with prayer and spiritual guidance if they wish.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) with a BA from the University of Washington and an M.Ed. from Seattle University.
My Call to Christian Counseling
As I was working in ministry, I found that teenagers were really struggling mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. In 2020, I worked closely with kids and young adults in West Seattle, trying my best to support them during that time of isolation and unknown. I realized that I would love to be able to support people with more skill, knowledge, and wisdom, which led me to pursue counseling as a career.

Grief and Loss
Grief and loss can come in many different shapes and sizes. You might be experiencing the loss of a relationship, your community, your career, a part of your identity, or grieving the loss of a loved one. Together, we will create a safe space where you are able to face this loss and explore the emotions that come with it. I am here to help you through the grieving process and work through the layers of feelings you might be experiencing.
Counseling for Teens
I have worked with teens for several years. I truly believe that teens today have a very unique experience and are having to navigate many challenges in an unprecedented manner. Working with teens, I will aim to provide a safe space where the client is able to express what they are struggling with and hoping for out of the counseling process. I will work with them one-on-one to help them grow and gain insight.
Depression
Unfortunately, depression is something that is all too common and it can feel daunting to navigate alone. Depression can include symptoms such as: a constant feeling of sadness, feeling hopeless, consistently feeling tired and unmotivated, feeling unworthy, or experiencing changes in how you would generally behave. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms or experiencing other signs of depression, know that you are not alone. Let’s work together to better understand how depression is showing up in your life and bring light to this darkness.
Anxiety
Sometimes anxiety can be very difficult to understand and overwhelming to navigate. It can feel as though anxiety has control over you, leading you to feel powerless and unsure of how to move forward. Working together, we can begin to unravel anxiety in your life, noticing where it stems from and how it takes form for you. We can then work toward finding a way to move forward in freedom.
