I am passionate about meeting clients in their toughest seasons and fostering healing together. I approach the counseling relationship with empathy and a holistic framework that we are complex individuals who require complex treatment. I understand that it takes time to heal. My goal is to walk alongside you and help you develop skills that will lead you toward the person God created you to be. Together with God’s help, we can experience a life filled with His peace and joy.
Puyallup – Mon & Tue
Sometimes we are so deeply entangled with our concerns, we struggle to find hope. As your counselor, it would be my honor to be in your corner rooting for you, listening to your story, and holding out hope until you can see it, too. With empathy and grace, I offer a safe space where you can share and feel heard. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, abandonment issues, trauma, relationship problems, or other concerns, it would be my privilege to be part of your journey toward healing and wholeness.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal is to partner with you on your walk toward a healthier and happier life that honors yourself and the Lord. My hope is that you will lean into the person God created you to be and find ultimate healing through Him. I aim to create a space where you will feel genuinely heard, cared for, and empowered, no matter what your struggles are.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
It takes bravery to come to therapy and be vulnerable with a professional. I strive to create a safe and empathetic space where no topic is off the table. In our first session, I’ll do an intake assessment to learn more about you and together we will develop an individualized treatment plan that fits your needs. We will work carefully together to identify the root of the issue and implement the skills needed to overcome your struggles.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My faith plays a large role in my life, and I believe there is a depth of healing that can only be possible through God. Similarly, there is a complex body, mind, soul, and spirit interaction within us at all times. I believe neglecting to incorporate fundamental aspects of ourselves into counseling, like faith, is doing a disservice to my clients.
Qualifications & Experience
I have a B.A. in Psychology from Western Oregon University and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University.
My Call to Christian Counseling
In my early college years, God gave me clear direction that I was meant to be a counselor. He has given me the curiosity and passion for working with others toward their goal of health and healing. Getting to walk alongside someone and be entrusted with part of their journey is a privilege I hold very dear. I believe God is the Ultimate Counselor and I am just a tool He uses to bring clients closer to His design for their lives.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
Some of my hobbies include being in nature (kayaking, hiking, backpacking, and gardening), creating things (watercolor art, pottery, wood working, and cooking), and embracing my joy of learning. I have become passionate about connecting back into a slower way of life with the goal of lowering hustle and stress—a life that allows God into every moment, rather than being rushed to each next thing. I am also passionate about learning God’s original design for nourishment and holistic healing in our lives.

Abandonment, Neglect, and Trauma
Whether it is abuse, unmet childhood needs, or any other number of experiences we can all face, trauma can affect us in many painful ways. Pretty soon, our trauma response can dictate how we interact with the people and world around us. The secret is, you have the ability to break through the chains of trauma. It is a scary process, but I will be right by your side as we work toward freedom from the pain. You are so much more than the trauma you have faced, and it is my honor to provide a space where that healing can begin.
Anxiety
God calls us to be anxious for nothing; however, anxiety can so easily feel crimpling and consume your life. In session we can discover the root cause of your anxiety and practice skills that directly target that root cause. Over time and with practice, those skills can be life changing. Through the Holy Spirit, I believe you have the ability to overcome anxiety.
Depression
Sometimes we go through exceptionally hard seasons where we have low energy, low self-worth, and struggle to go about daily activities. There is nothing “wrong” with experiencing depression; people become depressed for many reasons. In counseling we will work together to understand the root causes/triggers that increase your depression and develop habits that improve your mood and mental health. Whatever the source of the depression you are struggling with, you are not alone. Your feelings are real and valid, but you do not have to continue feeling this way forever.
Women’s Issues
As women, we juggle many roles—wife, mother, daughter, sister, career woman, and child of God. However, today’s women face many challenges that can affect them in one or many of those roles. Whether you are struggling with your role as a mother, hormonal imbalances, God’s calling for your life, or day-to-day struggles, I am here to provide the space to process. Together we can learn the strength and healing that is found in being uniquely called a woman of God.
Individual Counseling
We are relational beings who thrive when connected with others. Individual counseling fosters the warmth and connection between client and counselor so processing can occur. In this space, you have the safety to be vulnerable and grow into the authentic you God intended.
Online Counseling
Life can get so busy, schedules fill up, and many transitions at every turn. Online counseling provides flexibility by reducing your time commuting. Some clients also prefer to process in the comfort of their own homes. Whatever your reason for seeking online counseling, I look forward to working with you along the way. All you’ll need is a private space so no interruptions happen, a good WiFi connection, and a personal device such as a smart phone, laptop, or iPad.
